To be completely honest most of these were the result of a long lockdown due to COVID-19. I tirelessly managed to completely destroy most of my beloved posca pen markers by scratching them, blending them and mostly running out of them.
This series showed me that I can tune into certain art styles depending on the subject. Posca pens are normally used to create bold graphic pieces whilst I used them to blend and create scratchy texture. I also found out how prolific I can be when I find a dedicated theme or style. I’m really happy with these outcomes and how they gel with each other so nicely.
